What is an Education or Credential Evaluation?

A credential evaluation or education evaluation usually contains a description of the education credentials, including degree awarded, the year it was awarded, the name of the institution attended, and your major field of study, together with the opinion of the evaluator as to whether the foreign degree or education is the equivalent of a U.S. degree or diploma. Expert Opinion Letters are highly customized evaluations from experts regarding whether a position or an individual's credentials meet USCIS H-1B regulations or Visa requirements and are regularly used in

2. In response to a Request for Evidence (RFE) or
3. In response to a denial.
